As the outreach of CrownCARES continues to grow, so do the opportunities to serve. We welcome a wide range of skills and experiences. Volunteers must be 18 or older, unless accompanied by an adult, and sign a waiver covering liability, emergency care, and media image use.
Our Events:
The Music with a Mission Tour, featuring Rhythm&Reading™, makes stops in several cities throughout the Carolinas. Each event has its own share of logistical opportunities. We have needs both prior to and during the events. The majority of volunteer tasks require the volunteer to be on location.
Pre-Event Volunteer Needs:
- Recipient Recruitment (Those we will serve)
- Marketing
- Donation Requests (Both in-kind and cash)
- Volunteer Coordination
- Registration and Administrative Assistance
- Prop and Supply Preparation
- Group Coordination
- Media Coordination
- Food, Fun and Other Activity Coordination
During Events:
- Zone Leads (Registration, Rhythm&Reading™ Zone, Skills Assessment, Book Store, Food and Fun)
- Program Support
